Baccarat Rules
Baccarat is played with 6 to 8 decks of the standard cards. You need to have a clear understanding of the values allotted to the cards:
Understanding The Card Values
· The face cards like K, Q, J and 10 have a value of 10 each. If you get a K, Q, or J you value it 10
· Ace is valued at 1
· The rest of the cards from 2 to 9 are taken at their face value, which means 2 is valued 2, 3 is valued 3 and so on
· Suits do not have a ranking order in baccarat. All suits are considered equal to each other.
The Digit Value– The Last Number In The Digit
When total the values of the cards you hold, if you get a double digit total, the last digit is the value. For example, if you get the total of 27 the value of the hand you hold is just 7. You drop the left digit and consider 7 as the value.
Banker, Player and Tie
· Banco is the banker
· Punto is the player
· Standoff refers to tie
When you are playing with a wise money management plan, the baccarat game is easy because you have nothing to think of. You get dealt with the cards, you bet on banker, player or tie and based on what wins, you get the payoff dispensed accordingly.
You are going to play with the cards you get dealt, you have no choice of replacement. You need to have a clear understanding of the drawing rules unique to baccarat. The number 9 is the highest one digit number a natural win. A special third card rule is applicable for the draw based on whether you have an 8 or 9 in the initial deal. You need to be clear of the third card rule.
